So I may be WAY behind on this one, but I just heard this song for the first time when Jay-Z performed it at the VMAs… Yes, the VMAs and no, I don’t need you’re fucking judgment.

Now, I have had friends & family move to NY and there is a huge comedy/theater scene there, but nothing has ever made me want to move there more than this song.

Obvious reblog, plus it explains why I think its so perfect that Jeter takes the plate to this song AND it reminds me of why I have always loved my hometown in a way that is at times obnoxious, but always authentic.
