One last thing...
Pink sports gear is for women who are the wives/girlfriends of fans who are trying to “be involved” and not really fans themselves. The average female fan* just wants to wear team colors. We just wished the gear fit better. Which is why we will often cut and tweak sports clothes ourselves.
Even Alyssa Milano’s line of sports clothes for women is pretty much all regular colors but cut and styled more for a woman’s body.
*The exception to this rule is women who are obsessed with pink in general. They might want a pink jersey, but they would want a pink anything.
