What struck me most while watching this video is that, if all goes well on Tuesday, our work is just beginning. We have to keep working to change this country for the better.
Also, I cried through this whole thing.
I went and spent the weekend canvassing in North Eastern Pennsylvania for GOTV. This video made me cry, just like Kate. It also made me think of all the wonderful people I met. On Sunday, we went and put out door hangers. When we got back to go for a second round they were out of door hangers. They expected 40 volunteers, but 160 showed up. Yeah. 160. Let’s win this thing and get to work.
